Unhappy help with song from around 1999

I am looking for help on a song I heard quite a while ago. Unfortunately I don't remember any of the lyrics. It is and R&B/pop song sung by a woman over a classical tune. I don't remember the song, but it may have been something by Beethoven or Mozart. I know it's not a lot to go on, but if anyone can help, fire away. Thanks.

Do you mean "Piano & I" by Alicia Keys? It's on her first album "Songs In A Minor" and she plays Beethoven's "Moonshine Sonata"...

I know this is an old post, but I just wanted to update the situation. While playing around on the internet I happened to find the song I was looking for. The song was Sad But True by En Vogue, which also samples Moonlight Sonata. Thanks for your help, though.
