Pete and Pete (member, show, artist, band, song)

Does anyone remember the old Nickalodian show from the early '90s called "Pete and Pete"? It was about two brothers with red hair and they were both named Pete. In the theme show there's a three membered band singing "La la la la--Let's jump back!" they even had there own episode once.
Really, you can't understand what he's singing.

I might be really wrong, but could it be Better Than Ezra?

The connection I see is that one time I looked up Modest Mouse and it said "Similar artist: Better Than Ezra" and the song above sounded like something Modest Mouse would sing. So maybe you're right.
