I hope someone can tell me the name of this song (lyrics, indie)

So there's this song I heard on the radio here in california (SF). The song is super catchy, sounds kind of 80s, theres an instrument that sounds like a xylophone (or maybe its a keyboard) in the song, throughout. The only lyrics I remember are: "lets make this last forever, why cant this last forever?" Its either that or " I hope this last forever..." Anyway, its a great song and I'd love to know who it is, and the name of the song. They also played it in Urban Outfitters, so its a pretty cool, indie rock song...you get the idea...hope i dont sound like an idiot...thanks a lot!!
