Question What's that hockey song?

The song I'm looking for is a piece of music that is played at dramatic times during hockey games. Like before a powerplay for instance. It has no words. It's sort of classical, sort of StarWars-ish, sort of opera.

You don't mean 'Fanfare for the Common Man' by Aaron Copeland, by any chance? It was originally a US patriotic song from the end of WWII, but today it's mostly associated with the Olympics (especially the summer games). I don't know if I'd associate it with hockey specifically, but I suppose it could be what you had in mind, especially the Emerson, Lake and Palmer prog-rock version (scroll down on that page to find a link to a sample of it). It's a long shot, but I figured I'd mention it.

You might also want to check out the Hockey Themes CD.

Strange, though; I'm no fan of hockey, or sports in general. In fact, I found this page (as well as the Hockey Themes one) while looking for the lyrics to 'Hit Somebody' by Warren Zevon. Weird.
