Help me find this song "Stuck in 1985" (lyrics, rock)

I would really like to know the name or artist of a song I've heard on the radio. These are some of the lyrics I heard not exactly in any order. She's stuck in 1985.........., before U2 and Blondie.........., her son tells her she's so uncool. I think someone should know it but everyone I ask has never heard it. I don't know if it's new or old. Any help would be awesome. Thanks.

The song is by SR-71 which is a band from Maryland. The song is called 1985 appropriately enough.

I think the song your talking about is actually by Bowling for Soup. The song is called "1985" though. The album isn't out yet.

turns out both bands did it. first SR-71 and then Bowling For Soup.

i just heard it for the first time this morning (bfs's version) and it bugs me that i like it...
