An odd question about a song (lyric, lead singer, indie, album)

Hello all. First time poster here, and this forum seems to be where the majority of my tastes lie.

Anyway, I'm trying to locate a song. By this I mean to buy the album...not just download it or anything. My knowledge of the song is spotty (very lol) but I was hoping someone out there may be able to help.

Ok, the song structure was typical...lyric portion, chorus, lyric portion, chorus, etc. I don't remember any of the words, but I remember a part in the chorus where the lead singer voice inflected 'Oh oh oh Oh oh oh oh oh' that sorta repeated sometimes.

The other thing I can say is the song sounded very very reminiscent of Jane's Addiction style. Especially that voice inflection part I just mentioned. I'm pretty sure it's not a Jane's song though. I heard this song a lot last fall 2005, which is when I assumed it was released. I have the latest Jane's album and it's definitely not one of the songs on it. I'm also going to assume it's some Indie label band, but I'm not sure.

Anyway any help in locating the band that released this song would be much appreciated.
