I think you should have minimum post count for this forum (single, quote)

Yes I sound like a miserable old twat, but the amount of single posts we get in here jeez! It really clutters up the forum, and is also a shame, as some may turn out to be good posters, but we will never know!

They just spam until they have the correct number of posts needed.

I can see the logic, so how about a general thread clean up on the site, or get regular posters to recommend a graveyard thread whereby old unanswered threads are recommended to the mods? I am generally thinking of the site in general. It get's quite glitchy sometimes, and a clean up of it's database would'nt hurt would it?

I'm not sure that would make that much difference.

If you could see just how much spam is deleted by the mods everyday you'll see just how little of it actually gets through onto the boards.And deleting that all day everyday has made no difference to the running of the database.

If it was to make a difference it would have to be a mass deletion which would be much easier done by admin rather than mods.We are able to mod on the boards but none of us has any power to change the software the boards are run on.
