Similar to Chasing cars... (lyrics, rock, albums, Nickelback, member)

Hey,

So, every time I hear Snow Patrol's "Chasing Cars", the intro makes me think that it's going to be a different song that I used to know. It's been bothering me for a while, to no avail of figuring out the artist or song itself.
I can remember that the song that I'm trying to think of is much more Rock-style than Chasing Cars, and I think I remember the opening lyrics being something along the lines of "Are there sins tonight...." and I could hum it to you, but I dont think that would do much good :P

Any help would be appreciated to get this case off my head

It's similar to Fort Minor - Where'd You Go. Well at least it is to me.

well, the song im thinking of is the same key as chasing cars. im pretty sure its by audioslave whatever it is

are you just saying that because of my reference to audioslave, or did you have a song in mind? Soundgarden released over 20 albums, that's a lot of songs to look through...

h'okay, so the intro isnt exactly the same.

actually it's not even close

but it does have some similarities... the song turned out to be "Too Bad" by Nickelback. Man, does he ever not enunciate on those first few words.
