Help remembering a song? (indie, rock, irish, artist, 2004)

I'm driving myself nuts trying to remember/find the name or artist of a song that a friend downloaded to my computer in 2004 (the friend can't remember the song/artist anymore either). It sounds like an indie rock version of an Irish pub song (definitely has that sing-along pacing). Here's what I think I remember from the chorus: "run, Mary(?), run, straight into [something]. Forget everyone and everything...." or something like that. Very prominent male vocals (doesn't sound Irish), but I can't remember the instruments.

I figure if the music gurus on this forum can't figure it out, I don't stand a chance of finding this thing. Thanks in advance and sorry I can't add much more to the description.
