I was at a Vietnamenese restaurant and this great music was playing....upbeat and jazzy, but very relaxing and calming. Light and airy and simple, with only a few acoustic instruments and a beat and occasionally a singer's voice. I asked our waiter what the station was but he just told me it was Live365.com.

please help me find the station or any artists that sound like this, it's driving me crazy!


I would describe it as “World-lounge fusion”…that is, it had a very relaxing, calming beat, but was also seamlessly fused with different instruments like guitar and fiddle, giving it a slightly ethnic/acoustic sound.

I'd say it’s lounge, but the beat wasn’t THAT strong….it was definitely noticeable and kept the song flowing, but it certainly wasn’t anything you’d dance to, it was much calmer and more relaxing.

I wouldn't describe it as electronica, but I heard the DJ (a woman) mention some electonica singers, so I guess it’d fall under there. Maybe jazz-acoustic-world-electronica fusion, but very relaxing and downtempo? The songs were very light and airy, if you describe songs like that.

if anyone had any idea of which station this could be, i'd really appreciate it! i've searched through tons of stations and i can't find it, thanks. x_x
