Default Funky 70s-era instrumental with Rhodes piano

I keep hearing this song in my head but I can't figure out who it is or what it's called. It's an instrumental piece, probably a Top 40 hit in the 70s, based around a Rhodes piano riff (I'm pretty sure). It's sort of a musical cousin to "Fight the Power (Part 2)" by the Isley Brothers and "Superstition" by Stevie Wonder (in the latter case, only because of the bouncy Rhodes).

It might even have been on the soundtrack to "Boogie Nights," but I can't confirm. Please let me know if I can add anything else. Thanks!

OK, here's some more info. The song starts with the letter "O" and was played on KFRC 106.9FM last Friday night (8/29) about 9:25pm, followed by "Out of Touch" by Hall and Oates (they were playing "O" songs). The DJ didn't announce the name of the song.

I tried KFRC's website but they don't have a playlist.
