Hey all - I am hoping somebody here can help me out - my big brother was a fan of a band back in the day but he cannot for the life of him remember who they were, none of their songs - he just remembers that he loved them. I am hoping to find out who they were/are and buy him the album he loved. So the album cover, all he can remember is that it MIGHT be a white cover with a black letter "e" in Old English script. Anybody?? Thanks! |

that's too vague to get any real help. especially where you're unsure of the only possible clue you're offering.
if you're able to remember some of it you should be able to remember other parts like: the style of music maybe a lyric or two what year was 'back in the day'? |

I thought I posted under "punk" music which is what it was - my apologies. He doesn't remember any lyrics, and it was back in 1999 or 2000 for sure. I realise this is way too vague to possibly get an answer, but thanks for the help. :-)

haha the only thing I can think of is APPLE's Plutocracy = Tyranny & Exploitation... but I know thats not it...
ask him if the "E" is for the equality symbol. Like was it an e with a circle around it?

Nah, he can't remember anything else - it's a punk band in 1999 or 2000 and he's not even sure about the colours. He THINKS it's a white background with a black Old English script "E", but he's sure that's the only thing on the cover. Just a big "E" - capital, Old English script. No circle around it, not the equality symbol. I've been giving out to him about the fact that if it was a favourite band, how the fink doesn't he remember them, lol. He knows they were definitely an American punk band, though.
*deep sigh* - how irritating... Thanks for the help, though.
