Default Instrumental synthpop track identification - help me please!!

Happy new year all!
I'm going crazy in the past few days trying to find a track I've heard a million times (and again last Saturday, which made me start looking for it).
Can't really say a lot about it - it's an instrumental synthpop tune, sounds like it's most likely from the 80's. It's really famous - I've heard it a million time before! It kinda sounds like it could be in the soundtrack for The Beverly Hills Cop or Back to the Future
However, it's not -
Axel F, Popcorn, Get Ready For This....

What else - this is an extremely long shot, but if I had to write down the humming for this tune (and notice the commas!), it would go something like this:
Pam pam, pam pam, pam pam pam pam, pam pa-pam pam, pam pam
I know that's idiotic but I actually someone identify Seven Nation Army like that once
Help! Please!
