Question 60's guitar song

Howdy all. I heard this song on a store's stereo today and did not have enough time to write down the lyrics. I know it's a 60's (or 70's) rock song. The likes of Jimi Hendrix or Led Zepplin. But no songs in their albums match this. All's I could do it replicate the guitar chorus in MIDI (hopefully I'm not violating any forum rules by posting the midi link). Hopefully someone will recognize it. Thanks!

(I had to edit the link because the h in the beginning shouldn't be there)

reminds me a lot of "Layla" by Derek & the Dominoes.

Eric Clapton wrote that tune for Pattie Boyd - George Harrison's wife.
