i need help with this song (rock, members, concert, shows)

ok this is a description of the video:
there's kids sittin in a classroom and they see a hellicopter flying above the school and see that it's the ________ <(the band that i don't know) and they all run outta the classroom and go up there and then the teachers can't figure out where they are. then during the concert the drummer is spinning his drumstick and a kid takes a pic of it with his cell phone

i remembered that it said bittersweet a lot

it's a rock band

it talks about how she is ignoring him and stuff like that but that makes him like her even more

please help THANKS

No, it's definitly not The Verve. I know the "Bittersweet Symphony" video: It shows Richard Ashcroft goose-stepping straight ahead a street ignoring the people around him. It's quite funny when he pushs a couple of people aside and jumps on an off-bending car,
But I'm sure most people know this video, so I shudn't continue describing...
