He's definitely awesome, albeit overly flashy at times. One thing I loved about Jon was that he could just settle into a groove without having to go all Brann Dailor, throwing in ridiculous fills at the end of every bar (not that Thomas does, just saying).

His fills didn't impress me that much, his hi hat work impressed me much more. He has a fairly decent speed.
