very good EP. perfect length, excellent songs. i'm a fan of EPs. sometimes albums are too long for me. i'd rather hear a 30 minute musical presentation than, say, 80.

with this album, the first listening caught my interests. the melodies became apparant afterwords. i can relate their music to 'grizzly bear' but there's something different about them. the direction they take their songs, perhaps. catchier melodies, maybe. i don't know, but i'm looking forward to their next release. i'm a fan.

The main appeal of EPs for me is observing the band's ability in its least pretentious form. With EPs, I can only be critical of the mechanics. Albums have a lot more going on in the way of concepts

If it's anything like Grizzly Bear, I'm keen to hear it.
