I like stylo; once again the Gorillaz steps up and makes something different. Too bad Im not really into their other stuff.

Default Noob question

I have always wondered, who does all the music for this group?

It's a bit more than average for me at this point, but I went with "Very Good" because I'm almost positive it'll grow on me even more. Nothing besides Stylo really stands out for me as a single relese, maybe On Melancholy Hill but that's going to be realesed anyway. I really think that this album proves that pop music can be much much more than the shallow **** we are used to hear all the time. Empire Ants is a terrific example for this, a beautifully crafted song and definately one of more original highlights on the album.

I just spend a road trip playing through Plastic Beach a couple times. I think it is really good! There is a lot of variety yet it is really cohesive. There were a few too many guest artists, but I don't think it hurt it that much. And I love Little Dragon...the song Empire Ant is nothing short of amazing. Stylo is good, but Empire Ant was worth the album to me.

See, I loved Empire Ants, but I also really liked To Binge with Little Dragon. That might be my favorite off the album. All in all I really liked Plastic Beach.

I don't know why everyone is complaining about this album so much. Yes, it's no Demon Days, but if you excpected it to be then you are insane. I still think this is a great album, and love the style they're taking with songs like 'Stylo' and 'Glitter Freeze'

"glitter freeze" sounds kinda like a filler to me

I'd say it's more like an Interlude then filler, on account of it being good.
