This is an excellent album. Atmospheric without being boring, and a few upbeat tracks here and there to balance the mood.

Seems darker and more interesting than her previous stuff. Going to listen more to this before forming a real opinion

I was a big fan of Youth Novels. It was some very creative pop. It was definitely one of my favorites of 08. I downloaded Wounded Rhymes the day it came out, but I haven't listened to it yet. I'm glad to see initial responses are good...I'll be updating in here once I give it a good listen.

Edit: Just gave it my first run through. I'm impressed! The songs don't stick out as much as on Youth Novels, but I think that's because this is just a more consistent effort. She's definitely expanding. I'm so glad Youth Novels wasn't just a fluke. She's very talented.

I really, really liked this album. Very well put together, I think, and it seems to have a lot of depth.

It's one of the better albums released in the first quarter of 2011. She's really come a long way over the past few years. Her songwriting has really improved.

Barry: No, not never mind. You tell me right now. What's wrong with the Righteous Brothers?

Richard: Nothing, I just prefer the other....

Barry: BULLCRAP!!!

Rob: How can it be "bullcrap" to state a preference????
