Well when their ego's get massively large, they tend to take the road that will make them the most money. It's unfortunate, yes.

What happened to the guys that created Parachutes??? Coldplay has sold out. The only reminder of their past talent in the album is Paradise, which isn't that good either. All the tunes are perfect for average 13 year olds looking for some fancy and acclaimed group to love and preach. The lyrics seem like some kind of modern hippie/hipster movement filled with chart filler choruses, and the song titles are pretty stupid too. Charlie Brown? U.F.O? M.M.I.X? Major Minus? Not to mention that ridiculous collaboration with Rihanna, the video is even worst picturing pale Chris and the curvy brunette in a wannabe asian heroes movie. Every single appearance of them since MX was launched always features neon grafitti, costume made clothing, colors everywhere and all smiles and happiness and joy, more like a gay pop/rock band trying to gain some public. They started to fall since X & Y by borrowing U2 and Radiohead, Brian Eno could not help their blank minds in Viva La Vida... and now they have created this nonsense. The only reason that I can imagine about why people are still buying their records is that they are waiting for another masterpiece of the decade like their first couple of albums. It's really sad to watch these amazing bands burning slowly through the years, now Radiohead is the only one remaining.

I have tried to getting into Coldplay and most of there songs are either sounding the same or kinda sad. This album is good but like most of there other albums it has a few good amazing songs on but it is not Amazing.
