Default The Strokes - One Way Trigger

Just today, The Strokes released a single for their upcoming LP release, entitled "One Way Trigger". Videos have just hit youtube, and other social media.

Unfortunately, due to my post count, I can't embed the video. Can someone else?

Have you heard this track yet? If so, what do you think of it?

Has the album got a confirmed date yet? From the way the song sounds, does it sound more like conventional Strokes or similar to the more synth based material off of Angles?

I hope for the former, their garage rock style was definitely the best. Hands down.
EDIT: The single sounds like something new, synth-based. Disappointed.

I'm honestly a fan. It's the same direction that they've been going with Angles, the more bosanova influenced synth pop, and I think they pull it off pretty well. It's definitely got me wanting to hear more of the album.

To me the synth is too repetitive, the vocals sound weird, and overall reminds me of a song by a-ha. I hope the rest of the album is better, 'cause nothing about this song really makes me wanna listen to it again..

It's just not right for me, i will always remember the strokes as the kick-ass band that produced one of the best debut album i've ever heard. I'm disappointing

This band really sucks. Is This It was okay, I can't get past the love for it. Honestly theres only two really good songs on that album: Hard To Explain and Is This It.
