Honestly, I'd overlooked My Bloody Valentine a couple of times whenever I'd seen them on music websites so I'm not that big of a fan and I don't think I'm in love - but I'm definitely affected. I love this type of music and for some reason, I've found it to be a rarity. A couple of the tracks (Not that there's any comparison at all.) sort of remind me of Radiohead's "Kid A" album.

My favorites are "She Found You" and "In Another Way".

I had a girlfriend in High School who was really into metalcore and My Chemical Romance, all those sort of bands. She downloaded "Isn't Anything" by My Bloody Valentine based on the fact that the bands name sounded like all the other ****e she liked. Needless to say, she was not impressed by their music.

I'm a massive Loveless fan, and while I'm not sure MBV could ever do anything to surpass that album for me, this release comes extremely close, which is WAY more than I expected.

After listening to this a over a few months, I pretty much decided the last 3 tracks are the best tracks on the album, with the opener close behind. The tribal, chaotic drumming matches up with the more ambient, droning style of the last few tracks, especially on In Another Way. If that is the direction MBV goes into next, I would be really happy about that.
