Flying Lotus-You're Dead!

I love this record after my first listen. It's basically a jazz fusion album with electronic and hip hop thrown in. Which is fine with me. I love the slow change from his more typical oddball beats at the beginning to an ambient, free jazz-esque electronic haze near the end. I'm gonna have to listen to it a little more, but right now, I'm quite happy. Maybe not blown away, but happy.

interesting take, never thought of flylo as gimmicky but I can empathize with it.
His rapping is at par, and just so. It's not the focus and was inspired by all the improvisation rappers he produces for get away with.

This album is great. Giving it another listen before rating but it's probably a 4/5 at least.
