Jamie T is the real deal. I have spent many years promoting the bloke's cause and will defend him until my dying day (even if the realisation that someone who could quote classic poetry in his lyrics, was actually a bit of a nugget at heart, was hard to deal with) - at least his roughness is real. Lily spent a year or two (that she was too young to remember) in a council flat, until her dad made it big in a Blur video and got them all a 4 bed semi in suburbia - and a private education.

Jamie is the ultimate council estate poet. Began by writing his lyrics on subway walls and on Vauxhall Nova windows. Honest.

What are you talking about? Jamie T is a terrible lyricist and his music is nothing special, in fact its awful. And didn't he do a song with Lily Allen?

Collaboration or not, I am failing to see your point in terms of comparison - and if you think JT writes terrible lyrics, I'd be really (coff) interested to hear who you think writes good ones.

You seem to possess an entirely unwarranted snobbery, dear boy(?). Perhaps once you've grown up and can quote lyrics Disney wouldn't bid for, you can come back and argue, sensibly. Until then, I'll wallow in reality while you wallow in, er, girls with roses in her eyes.

Disney wouldn't bid for what? What are you talking about? Jamie T is trash and I think thats been proven and yet to be argued since you can't seem to form any counter or even a very coherent one if that was a counter.
