Default Blondie

The core of Blondie may seem like mere pop music, but they were actually a fusion of many different styles of music. Even as a solo artist, Debbie Harry had her moments. The power pop barbie doll girl bands of the new millenium took a lesson or two from Blondie, although they probably won't openly admit it. And somehow, I get outraged when I hear horrible covers of "Call Me" and "The Tide Is High", butchered, and sold as a pop bands only single.
And yet this forum has managed to go on, without a Blondie thread.

I`d give Blondie as an example of the best ever as far as the nearest female fronted pop ever got to perfection.

I guess some people might say the same thing about ABBA , but then ABBA never had Debbie Harry`s coolness.
