Default Brainticket

Figure I'd start a thread on this band after Anteater turned me on to them. To be perfectly honest, the larger volume of their work is rather pedantic, but a few works are a great bit of psychedelia.

Brainticket were a collective of musicians from western Europe (no, not Britain, sorry lads) who survived to produce three before disbanding, all of which have a unique sound to them but it is really their first work, Cottonwoodhill (1971) that is a mind-bending exploration in psychedelic perplexity. Check it out yourself:

Places of Light:

Those aren't even the good tracks off this monstrosity. Cottonwoodhill is certainly worth listening to in its entirety. *nudge nudge*

Cottonwoodhill is definitely the biggest highlight of their discography (have yet to hear anything else quite like the title track), though I am enjoying Psychonaut immensely atm!

I've only heard Psychonaut, but yeah, pretty good album. Trippy.
