I have 7 out of their 8 releases, and I can safely say that they are all amazing in their own way. Not much disappointment in any of them as far as I can tell.

I'll need to get them all too, just holding out a little until I can get a pair of headphones that will do the band justice.

If you like Someone Here Is Listening, I think you should check out Little Man and Variations On A Dream. Both are amazing and two of their finest records.

Right, will do. They're also supposed to be recording a new album as we speak.

Yep. They mentioned that they would be in the studio in January to record an album that they will release later in the year.

INTERVIEW – Bruce Soord (The Pineapple Thief) | LOVE-IT-LOUD.com

Ah, that article says that they're re-mastering their older albums as well. Might be worth getting the new versions instead of the originals?

Possibly. The only thing I could think that they'd want to remaster is the production quality maybe. The albums sound very good in terms of vocals and guitar and stuff like that.

You keep comparing them to the Smashing Pumpkins, but these virgin ears are hearing a lot more Radiohead in their songs...

The musicianship is more comparable to Pumpkins, the vocals are probably more relatable to Radiohead just not as whiny.

The first song I listened to, 'Snowdrops', sounded like an acoustic Radiohead track...
