You 'avin a laugh!? The Ramones! Loads of top notch albums in a row! Over two thousand two hundred gigs! Non-stop touring for 22 years!

The Sex Pistoles. One album. Split after 3 years.

Do I hear a winner?

And you don't find that impressive? They were only around for just a bit but did so much.

They went crap after the first few albums though, and since NMTB was far more interesting than those albums anyway i'd have to say the Pistols win it. Quality over quantity.

Not really. I think the Ramones were one of the most consistent bands ever. The only two albums of there's I'd call bad would be Mondo Bizarro and Adios Amigos but given the fact Dee Dee, their principal songwriter, had left I'd excuse that. They did pull off Acid Eaters well without him which is notable.

I don't really like The Ramones music that much.

We have to do another poll about who is better The Clash or The Ramones. I'd pick the Ramones
