like I said before and I think everyone must agree here...the Pistols were political rebellions whereas the Ramones were more rebbelling against socioty....

who cares what they were rebelling against or who came first or who farts like a punk blah blah blah. They both put out decent-to-good music and deserve respect whether you hate them or love them. The end.

without a question- the sex pistols for me. too make such an impact in the short time they were together is quite a feat. their career consisted of only two albums- yet they are seen as probably the most important punk band ever (in the UK anyway). those who say theres no talent in the pistols i have one thing to say to you...Glen Matlock. the ramones on the other hand, well im not too familiar with them but most of the people i know who own ramones Tshirts only wear them to look cool. based on that- and the fact im more familiar with the pistols, i go for them.
