I was about to say whenever people list post punk bands they always forget P.i.L, I don't know why, Metal Box is amazing.

yeah metal box is awesome
i got flowers of romance a couple of weeks back
that kicks ass as well

i got a really bad reissue of metal box a while back
theyd sucked all the bass ****ers!

Public Image might be the best "debut" single ever. Wow!

FireInCairo, are you referring to Second Edition? Yeah, the sound is really awful there.

Metal Box was the original pressing of it when it came out as four 12" singles in a metal film cannister box.

Second Edition was the 2nd edition of it that came out as a normal conventional album.

Apart from the sludgy bass sound, the covers are different and the tracks are shuffled around on Second Edition. Unfortunately, Metal Box tends to be rather pricey...
