I searched, but after the first page of results I decided just to make a new thread.

Operation Ivy is really good, I only checked them out recently. For some reason I never really gave them a listen till hookers like forced me too. They make some really good stuff, my favorite songs are unity, take warning and bombshell.

i love this band with a passion. the bass lines are amazing. lyrics are very politcical and down to earth. to bad this is tim armstrong's only good band.

^Old Rancid was pretty good also, but after ...And Out Come the Wolves it is like he forgot how to write a song with any kind of flow. But yes I love love love love Op. Ivy. They are my myspace song right now

^Yeah, Tim doesn't really do anything besides sing a little. If you watch any live videos it is Lars and Matt and the drummer (can't remember his name) actually playing and singing and Tim trying to play and dance.

I'm wearing an Op Ivy t-shirt right now. Freeze Up is my favorite song of theirs, but theyre all really good.

I like some Rancid as well though.

Oh man, what a great band. My favorite songs would be either Jaded or Big City. Too bad they broke up but I guess it was for the best (for them).

Operation ivy are awesome, there energy is amazing, and jesse micheals is a great lead. My fave song is probably yellin in my ear..
