green day get to much abuse, they are a really good band they just went away from there other earlier stuff with there new album..

Love green days earlier stuff, american idiot didnt really like at all. As far as pop punk goes id have to say Guttermouth would be my favourite.

i dont see much of a defference between their new stuff and old stuff but i really cant stand either

youve obviously not listened to there old stuff then, for a start there old stuff only had 2 guitarists and now theyve got three so that surely gives them a different sound..

Exactly, theyve just lost all there punk energy in the new album... maybe cos theyve stopped playing with bands like operation ivy and screeching weasel at gilman etc
