dear god, no. It isn't so much that green day is bad (though they arent exactly good) as much as they're horribly over-rated, and i'm tired of people talking about being punk because they listen to green day/ linkin park/ evenescence. I'm sure that makes me kind of a bastard, but oh well.

Green Day is band that should disperse.
They let down so many fans with that damned American idiot album.
Just because a lot of other popular musicians were making records to tell their feelings about Bush and his administration doesn't mean that they should've joined the band wagon.

Paradise is probably the one good song people will remember them by.

Granted American Idiot is poop, but i love their earlier stuff, Dookie in peticular.

In fact they used to be my favorite band, though i've come a long way since then.
