American Idiot? (rock, cd, album, fan, quote)

Is it any good? My radio station was playing almost the whole cd, but I turned it off not knowing what it was. I was thinking about getting it, but I can't really decide if it's worth my money, worth having someone burn for me, or not worth ****. Any opinions on it?

I think it's a great CD/album (or whatever you want to call it). But, of course, this is coming from a huge Green Day fan too. It's a different sound from say Kerplunk or Dookie. I would say give it a try. And hey, if you don't like it, you can always trade it somewhere.

This album is well worth the buy. A very exellent comeback by Greenday indeed!

I'm a Bush fan so I don't like the very political overtones (same with the new Rise Against cd - terrible), but its not too bad. I reccomend having it burned for you or something like that. I wouldn't spend my money on it though.

I havent bought the cd yet, but I have listened to it and I loved it! But if you're not into green day then you might think that it sux. I cant say that it's the best CD of theirs but it is worth the money.

I hate how everyone is going crazy over the new Green day cd! I mean it's great for the band and all, but now stupid ****ing people who couldn't name three green day songs before this are buying the cd. It pisses me off. I mean I love G.D. but now the new CD is attracking horrible publicity.
