Land Of The Free was horrid. Totally generic.

I'm gonna revive this thread, since they have a new record, Reason To Believe (for free!). How do you guys like the new one? my favorite tunes so far are "Something to live for" and "Faith and Hope".

The new record seems to be a lot better than the last couple records. The gang vocals are great.

Pennywise is a great band. My favourite song by them is probably Homesick or maybe Alien or Yesterdays. Bro Hymn is classic.

I have Full-Circle, Land of the Free? and Reason to Believe. I was thinking of getting Straight Ahead next.

Anyway, the old stuff is really good, but prior to Straight Ahead, they had poor recording quality.

For anyone new to this band, I would reccomend starting with "Pennywise". But they have other great albums too such as "About Time", "Full Circle", "Land of the Free?", and "The Fuse". Their new album, "Reason to Believe" is good also. Anyways, my favorite song is probably "**** Authority".

The last one I bought was 'Land of the Free' which wasn't awful, but definately didn't stand up to my favorite 'Straight Ahead.'

I gave it a rest for a while and picked up 'Reason To Believe' on a whim and have found myself listening to it quite regularly. It seems like they're actually enjoying themselves again as opposed to just churning out generic punk songs to fill records.
