I aint much of a punk fan, Black flag are one of the only punk bands I can actually listen too, anyone else?

I always though Rollins turned them from being a half decent punk band to a sh*t metal band.

Eh....Black Flag is ok. I think the only reason decide to like 'em is cause they were one of the first punk bands to come out. They have pretty simple lyrics too. I'm not a big fan, but I do have great respect for them. Oh...and people probably talk **** about Henry cause of how he didn't stick to being all 'Hardcore' and stuff. But hey, the guys got a good life and he doesnt give a **** about what people have to say. More power to him.

thats the biggest misconception about black flag. henry was blamed for the changes in music. he was blamed for the sludge metal on my War, the Sabbath-like Loose Nut,etc BUT F*CKING GREG GINN WHO WROTE JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING WAS RESPONSIBLE. any book on the band will tell you so

That's crazy, I don't see who'd consider 'My Way' as any kind of metal. But I see people have blamed Rollins for changing the styles of music. When I personally hear almost any Black Flag song, I definately don't hear 'metal'. Whatever though...people will talk.

I still think they should have cast Henry as the Punisher in that awful movie, that would have ruled. The only Black Flag tune I ever liked was Gimme Gimme Gimme
