Default Em freestyle

Marshall Mathers, recording as Eminem, started rapping as a teenager in Detroit, Michigan. His self-produced recording The Slim Shady EP caught the attention of famed rapper/producer Dr. Dre, who helped Eminem produce The Slim Shady LP. The 1999 record made Eminem a radio and video superstar, with a reputation as a white rapper who wasn't afraid to be vulgar. His fame was only heightened by troubles with the law and legal battles with this mother and his first wife. In 2002 he released the best-selling The Eminem Show and also starred in the Curtis Hanson movie 8 Mile, a drama loosely based on Eminem's early life in Detroit. In 2003 Eminem became the first rapper to win an Oscar (for the song "Lose Yourself," from 8 Mile).
He made Lotsa money, released good albums.
Ive got only 1 question:WHY WOULDNT ANYONE FACE HIM IN FREESTYLE?
Now tell me he is not the best rapper alive.
His rhymes are razy n he makes anything sound like rhymes.

There was a documentary of him the other day and he faced this guy on stage, freestyling. The guy was wearing a rasta hat and Em said 'You're all wrapped up like a Mummy. Your hats from your head to your tummy.' that is an awful line, and the guy made a 2 second rap and totally owned him. Plus it took Em AGES to think each line up. I don't understand why no-one will face Em, from what I saw he weren't that great. Then again, maybe he was having an off-day. Freestyling made him, after all, so he must have had something going for him.

He was good, then he sucked, then he was good, now he sucks. I heard he's good at freestyling, even though what I saw of him is poor. That basically sums it up.

I would take Immortal Technique or Eyedea over anyone in a freestyle battle.

I've seen a couple of freestyles of him, mainly over the net and other docs. That was the worst one that came to mind though.

Ok first off you are 12. Second there is a difference between being a good rapper and being a good battler. As far as being a good battler I don't know how good eminem is, but he sure as hell isn't the best. Download some battles by immortal technique, eyedea, or brotha ali. As a studio rapper Eminem has a lot of ability, he used to be really innovative as far as rhymeschemes and delivery, but now he is just lazy. He makes ****ty commercial music that he knows will sell a lot of records, and he thinks he is a badass, when in reality he is a pussy.

I totally agree with mannequin because he definately has talent, but it takes a while for him to show it. The thing I don't get is that he is a very intelligent guy yet he flunked at school and didn't go to well, what's up with that?
