I love Run DMC,
great old school hip hop.
I dont think they're the greatest rappers of all time though.
That is a bit of an overstatement, but they are great nonethelss

notice i said SOME of the greatest rappers of all time.. i obviously do not think that they are THE greatest rappers of all time..

They were good, but it isnt like they had any kind of outstanding skills.
They rapped like any old-shoolers.
They were very influential but they werent the best.
There are many rappers better than they are.
You have already admitted to not liking much rap.
Therefore, you probably dont listen to it regularly enough to be exposed to better rappers.

yeah well.. like you said, im not much of a rap fan.. and it takes a lot for a rapper to catch my attention.. the fact that Run DMC caught my attention and are some of my favorite rappers makes them great in my opinion.. same with tupac and various other rappers..
