No you're missing the point. Let me bold the keywords in his statement, maybe it will help you see his point. How come when people's main argument behind a song being good is its fun the song is usually complete crap? If a song has nothing else going for it but how "fun" it is that's pretty sad considering everyone has different ideas fun. I don't consider cliche ridden club crap to be remotely fun, in fact its my idea of torture.
