My favorite rappers are Dead Prez, Cypress Hill, Nas, Ghostface Killer, Mos Def, Eminem, Mobb Deep, Big Pun, DMX (before he became blah), Jada Kiss, and the Wu Tang Clan and all the solo albums except those made by Red Man and Method Man who are jokes without the rest of the clan.
I am also a big fan of Ms. Jade and Missy Elliot's earlier work. that stuff rocks. Ms. Jackie O is kinda good but some of her songs just make me wanna throw up.

I voted for Eminem. But one of my favorites, is Tupac. (dead or alive). Not to metion Dr.Dre also.

... I'm not going vote because, the only 2 rap artists I even remotely like are not on there. Aesop Rock and MF doom.

... Well, I would argue, but being it is a matter of taste I won't, since it would most likely lead to a flame war. I will say this however on complexity and... intelligence factors those two bands are superior. Thats it for me though, end of discussion.
