Mary J. Blige / U2 (u2, band, song, youtube, Lute)

Right now I am having a love/hate thing going on with this song "One", as sung by Bono and May J. Blige. I mean, I was never crazy about the U2 version of it to begin with, but I absolutely love the way Mary sings it. My only complaint is that she's not singing the entire song. I think Mary J. Blige kicks ass!
My husband hates it. He says they only made worse a song that wasn't all the wonderful to begin with.

I mostly like 2:40 to 3:05, it gives me chills it's so good, IMHO. (I'm talking about the song, not the video). I don't really like the thing she does with her voice at the end though.

Anywho, just wondered what the wonderful people of MB thought about the song...Is is a bastardization of the original, or do you like it better??
