Question about Immortal Technique (song lyrics, dance, quote, song, Erhu)

I know Immortal Technique was in jail, what was it for? Also, in Dance with the Devil he says he was there when they murdered that guys mom. From what I know, its a true story. Shouldn't he be in jail for murder?

...The guy in Dance with the Devil killed himself after he raped his mom... so I'm fairly certain that it is not autobiographical. I did hear that the song is based off of true events but who knows how much IM played up the situation.

William was IT's friend, he said that he was there, as one of the "gang" not the guy who's mom it was.

Muhaa.. ok, but either way I don't think he could get charged with anything just through the song lyrics... even if he was part of it.

And I still think he's exaggerating what actually happened.

I meant at the time of the offense, though, that could count as a confession....though he could call it poetic license...
