I came in here to disagree with the ORiginal poster, thinking it was going to be on a OMG DRAKE IS SO AWWWSUM style posting.

But I agree with you. He sounds a bit like Lil Wayne mixed with Kid Cudi.

Kid Cudi is talented, though.

I only know him by Day N Nite, really, so I can't say that I do.

He has a funny name though, thinking in slang terms. Especially in the above statement's context.

Just to let everyone know...

Something that shocked me immensely and made me watch a ton of Drake's live performances...

Drake is Jimmy, handicapped Jimmy, from Degrassi: the Next Generation!!
I'm not sure if this is common knowledge but I thought it was hilarious that he's collaborating with Lil' Wayne and others now but used to be handicapped Jimmy on Degrassi.
Everytime that hit single "Best I Ever Had" comes on the radio I get a big smile because a montage of Degrassi scenes runs through my head.
Also, I think his real name is Aubrey Graham (doesn't sound like the most "gangster" name I've seen).
