Yeah, but there are plenty of rappers that don't do that. Tons and tons. And their voices don't all annoy me, and their flow doesn't sound so awkward. I mean, I can see why you like it, and it's not horrible, but I definitely don't think it's great.

Technically, rap is just a mixture of spoken word, and sound collage. I think both need to be explored extensively. Especially sound collage which is why it's good that Girltalk is somewhat known.

Or at least be like Saul Williams, and give off an aura of intellect. I can see where the standpoint is coming from being tired of the "booty and ho's" style of hip-hop. This I don't see breaking any ground since it's just a parody of hip-hop something that's existed for almost as long as hip-hop itself.

I think though the Ukulele in Mr.B is actually a welcome surprise for the gimmick that it is. It's actually fun to listen to.

I can't really say I enjoyed that. It wasn't really all that compelling to listen to. At the end of it, I don't remember a single standout lyric, and the musical background wasn't particularly interesting to listen to, so it was a voice I considered dull enough to forget, over a background beat that became mundane by the end of the song. The actual story was kind of interesting, but if you're going to tell a story, shouldn't your music reflect the events in some way, rather than there being a big disconnect between the two?
