As DJ said, his solo albums from a few years ago were Hip Hop as opposed to R&B. He may have utilized his singing voice on his Hip Hop albums, but there was still a lot of rapping going on.

Speaking of Lady Killer, how good an album is it DJ?

I only gave it one listen and it didn't impress me much. I'm willing to re-listen and give it another chance though.

I guess maybe I may have based to much assumption on his single Forget You/Fukk You. Its the part toward the end of the song when he's like.."whinning & crying" ad lib. It just ruins the whole song for me anyway. It starts off so good vocally with the first verse and chorus, but then his little "ad lib"s toward the end just fukks the whole song up..lol.

I'm sure he does have some good singles though, his vocals are very unique.

Definitely give the album a full listen and just skip over that track. I'm going to listen to it again myself. I listened to it the first day it came out and then moved onto my long list of other albums I wanted to get through. So maybe I didn't give it much of a chance.
