The difference is Quasimoto can actually pull it off nicely. I hear the chipmonk thing more in mainstream hip hop, pretty sure Twista's done it before in some of his songs.

I cant name any in particular. I just mean typically in the Chorus of some hip hop songs they will pitch up there voices, and I feel like thats about on the same lvl as autotuning. I will try and find an example.

By the same token, how about skits? I literally don't think I've ever heard a skit that doesn't suck.

A lot of rap skits are good and even great to hear once or twice. They can ruin a music album though, no matter how good.

Why does 2pac continually get praise for being poetic? I mean yeah, compared to Biggie it's poetic, but there was poetic stuff before and after Pac that quite frankly surpassed his stuff in just about every way.

Heh, I have another cliche: How about the "god shout out"? Sometimes it's an entire track, sometimes just a part of a track. Either way it's basically the aural equivalent of a rapper pausing for a moment to kiss the big gold cross around his neck before going back to grabbing his balls and smoking a blunt.
