What do you think about the uk hip hop scene? im helping to promote singers rappers and producers worldwide not only that but we also have rap battles audio and text, beat battles news and reviews www.icemuzik.com we're open mid april may at the latest the forums are up now and there are plenty of battles up which need votes and opinions we will also be putting together mixtapes come and join thanx for readin

what about The Streets? I hate their slow sh*t, but some of their tracks are gangsta.

^ You know, I didnt think so either at first. But my friend from Holland let me hear more of their sh*t, and I liked it. They got some thug cuts here and there, beneath all the soft sh*t.

Yeah I suppose they're ok, right enough though their songs are really slow paced, not fast paced like american hip hop, but all in all not bad.
ps I didn't think they were hip hop at first either

i think dizzee doesnt represent uk hiph hop really, i feel he is more grime and garage same with wiley and lethal b. i think uk hip-hop is more stuff like skinnyman, roots manuva. to me that sounds more like hip-hop.
somone who is doing a great deal for uk rap/hip hop is kano and the mitchell bros they are going to do alot. coz kano came from more grime, with d double e and the nasty crew but his new track -typical me- is really more hip hop.

yerr again. sway is the way forward i think for uk hip-hop. klastnekoff, skinnyman and roots are good, but like dizzee and all that are mainly grime and garage, which is different in my opinion.

the accents are the best part of it.. gives it a bit of uniqueness mayn.

PS. Dizzee Rascal is NOT hip hop.. he is garage/grime/rap.. and Dizzee has some pretty alright tunes. I like what he's done.

Skinny man is ****ing awesome as well
