Default Chopped and Screwed

This discussion is mainly for the people that listen to southern hip hop. What do you think about chopped and/or screwed versions of albums? In the past I have normally past them over because i'm like wtf, these guys already have a slow flow with their southern drawl and they make it even more slow. What's so appealing about that!?!?

I listened to my first chopped and screwed album today though and I like the chopped aspect of it a bit more than the screwed. The chopped remixes brings out the whole feeling that a dj is cutting it up on the turntable and it has an awesome sound to my ears.

I can honestly say I'm not a big fan of it but maybe i've just been hearing the wrong songs, any suggestions?

I like the idea of chopped and screwed stuff but I haven't been very impressed by what I've heard. Admittedly, though, I haven't heard very much

I gave that album a listen and I didn't like it as much as Sound of Revenge. Not enough chopping going on. I listened to the three most popular songs from 3 in the morning and I wasn't feeling it.

Chopped and Screwed is good if done right. A lot of the time it isn't.

Most of Chamillionaire's music is niiiiice chopped and screwed, and the Tech N9ne mixes that DJ Loon (iirc) did were pretty good.
