Check out this anagram Makaveli: The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory
Change the lettering and you get, "OK on the 7th u think I'm dead yet I'm really alive", which could be seen as a reference to the fact that on the 7th day after he was shot he 'passed on'.

My guess is he staged his death, got reconstructive surgery, and is now living fat somewhere in the tropics in the witness protection program.
