Default Chester Watson

15 year old rapper/producer that seems to be in the same vein as Odd Future (or at least he sounds a lot like Earl), and is clearly influenced by DOOM in some of the beats he makes (he also raps over the beat for Hoe Cakes). Just listened to his Phantom mixtape and was pretty impressed for a 15 year old.

always glad to see a new yorke(pun intended) thread

i like this a lot. Sounds like he sampled grimm in the first track.A lot more restraint than odd future, good thing.

Like the first two a lot, 3rd one not as much for some reason.

Definitely recommend giving that mixtape a listen. That 3rd track wasn't one of my top picks, but a lot of the songs aren't up on youtube.

yeah did now. I liked it a lot, he samples Dragon ball Z which is always a treat for me.

you weren't joking about the doom influence, at least from the production standpoint. Speaking of which why doesn't "labrynth" credit the producer? Im guessing its chester but still.

Also, whats up with "Goldie" is that the original beat? because i swear that was hit boy.

Crisp monotone, wish there was more variation in his delivery sometimes but i feel like im just being picky. It's good, and for 15, its really impressive.

I can only really get into the first linked song but it's not bad. I can't take the second song seriously because of the Wizard of Oz sample haha.
